With Rafael dos Anjos out, it’s now a mad dash to get Conor McGregor an opponent for the UFC 196 main-event slot. Finding a quick replacement in less than 2 weeks notice you would think would be a tall order. Consider the amounts of cash they threw at Chad “Money” Mendes to step in the octagon with McGregor on short notice at UFC 189.

Many analyst are pointing to Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone to step in. Currently he’s in the mid 170’s and could easily make this Conor McGregor’s welterweight debut or a catch-weight bout.

Regardless of the weight, is this the fight you want to see at UFC 196?
