Following the big win, Luke Rockhold called out former UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre requesting that the French Canadian superstar withdraw from his upcoming title fight with Michael Bisping at UFC 217.

According to “Rocky”, St-Pierre has no business fighting for the UFC’s middleweight title and has zero chance of dethroning the current champion Michael Bisping.

Here is what Rockhold said in a backstage interview following his win over David Branch.

“I’m not calling GSP out. Don’t get it wrong. Get it straight. I am telling GSP to get the f*ck out of this irrelevant fight! I don’t think he has any chance (to beat Bisping). I really don’t. I am just telling you the straight truth. GSP is going to get crushed. His game plan will not work against Bisping. As much as I don’t like him, the other guy (Bisping), he’s going to lose. The takedowns, Bisping is just going to scramble and get up. The size is going to wear on him, he’s going to outbox him and probably put him (GSP) away in the later rounds. That’s the fight. It is going to happen. You know I will bet the house on it. I’ll even f*cking bet on it.”

When asked if he would fight Georges St-Pierre if the Canadian manages to defeat Bisping at UFC 217 in New York, Luke Rockhold responded with the following.

“GSP, if he wins, somehow or someway, because anything can happen in this sport. Maybe. But he isn’t going to f*cking fight any of us (middleweights). There is no way he fights any of us. That is the stupidest thing about this fight.”
