Wanderlei Silva calls out Dan Henderson and Vitor Belfort for bare-knuckle fights

MMA legend Wanderlei Silva has called out fellow veterans of the sport Dan Henderson and Vitor Belfort for bare-knuckle fights. Silva signed with BKFC last fall but has yet to make his debut with the promotion. At the time of the signing, Silva said he was interested in fighting Belfort. Six months later and Silva still wants to fight Belfort but he’s also interested in fighting Henderson, as well.

Artem Lobov says he's been approached about boxing rematch with Paulie Malignaggi

Artem Lobov is interested in fighting Paulie Malignaggi again but this time doing it in boxing. Lobov and Malignaggi fought last summer at BKFC 6 where it was a highly-anticipated bout. But, it was “The Russian Hammer” who edged out a decision win. Following the fight, many thought a rematch would make sense but Dave Feldman told BJPENN.com, Malignaggi was unlikely to fight in BKFC again.

He then made it clear he was done with the sport. Yet, “Hick Diaz” is hoping the two can enter the boxing ring for a bout.

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship announced during its BKFC 9 broadcast on Saturday that it has signed “Iranian Hulk” Sajad Gharibi. He is set to make his BKFC debut sometime in 2020. A native of Iran, the 27-year-old Iranian Hulk is a hardcore bodybuilder who has become popular through his viral photos on social media exhibiting his incredible and almost comic-like physique. He has no combat sports experience but he has said in the past he would like to get into fighting. BKFC evidently saw an opportunity with him and went out and signed the viral star.

There, he slapped the SBG Ireland product in the face. It immediately caught the attention of Conor McGregor who is Lobov’s teammate. The main event of BKFC 8 didn’t last long as former UFC heavyweight contender Gabriel Gonzaga knocked out fellow MMA veteran Antonio Silva. Gonzaga and Silva were scheduled for five rounds of action, but Gonzaga needed just two rounds to finish Silva. The win was Gonzaga’s first in BKFC. Although he’s 40-years-old, the Brazilian MMA legend still possesses a ton of knockout power and showed that against Silva in this fight. It was Gonzaga’s first victory in bare-knuckle fighting.
