According to a report from Rob DeMello of KHON 2, Bellator MMA is headed to Hawaii. The promotion is expected to take over Honolulu’s Neal S. Blaisdell Center on December 15. The card will be headlined by a Bellator women’s flyweight title fight between Hawaiian champion Ilima-Lei Macfarlane and former UFC strawweight title challenger Valérie Létourneau. The promotion has yet to officially announce this card, but that official announcement could be coming as early as today.

Under the guidance of Scott Coker, Bellator MMA has picked up another high profile UFC veteran: Erick Silva. Silva, who was once considered a top prospect in the UFC, has signed a multi-fight deal with Bellator, where he is expected to compete in the promotion’s stacked welterweight division. This news was announced by Silva’s manager on social media, and subsequently confirmed by MMA Fighting, who spoke to officials from Bellator.

Recently we got treated to the announcement of Bellator 209’s fantastic headliner between featherweight champion Patricio “Pitbull” Freire and Emmanuel Sanchez. Now throw three more fights into the mix. On November 15th Bellator will return to Tel Aviv, Israel for the third time. And the card is beginning to shape up.

Ricky Bandejas (11-1 MMA) picked up a statement win in his promotional debut at last night’s Bellator 204 event scoring a first-round knockout victory over the previously undefeated and highly touted James Gallagher. Bandejas was able to drop Gallagher just minutes in to the opening frame with a crisp right hand. James would scramble back to his feet but would quickly be sent back to the canvas after eating a kick that looked similar to former WWE wrestler Shawn Michaels famous sweet chin music finisher.

After a couple of rematches stole the featherweight division’s spotlight in Bellator, it’s time that we got a new and fresh matchup. Bellator will be heading back to Israel for the third time in the organization’s history as they’ll drop down in Tel Aviv at Menora Mivtachim Arena on November 15th. In the main event will the featherweight champion Patricio “Pitbull” Freire defending against the red-hot Emmanuel Sanchez reports MMAJunkie.

At the time, the details of his eight-man tournament were scarce. While Bellator Scott Coker suggested many of Bellator’s big-name welterweights would be involved, it was not clear who exactly.
