With the recent news of ONE FC’s new weigh-in procedures and regulations, Rogan recently tweeted a link to the organizations new system that will be implemented in 2016. Rogan said in the tweet, “This ONE FC weight cutting ban is a step forward in the healthiest direction.”

ONE Championship is planning to revolutionize the sport of mixed martial arts with a new weigh-in system starting in January 2016. If the same system is adopted by more promotions, particularly the UFC and Bellator MMA, the world of mixed martial arts will forever be changed. The announcement comes shortly after a ONE Championship fighter, Yang Jian Bing passed away while attempting to make weight for a bout.

Two weeks out from the RIZIN New Year’s Eve card, the promotion finally announced the opponent for Fedor Emelianenko. The previous talk of Fedor facing Jaideep Singh (1-0 MMA) fizzled out after initial reports, but it was announced that Singh is, in fact, Fedor’s opponent. RIZIN announced the match late Thursday at a news conference.
