Apparently, the five rounds of boxing on Saturday night was not enough for WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder.

Wilder was involved in a hotel lobby brawl following his successful title defense over Gerald Washington, which was on the Premier Boxing Champions card that took place on Saturday night. Apparently, Wilder and his crew got into it with fellow boxing heavyweight contender Dominic Breazeale, who also fought that night on the PBC undercard.

TMZ got some video footage of the scuffle taking place in the hotel lobby but it does not show how the incident started.

Breazeale took to social media posting a message on the incident stating the following:

“First off, I want to take the time to thank God that both me and my opponent came out of the fight unharmed and safe last night. Secondly, I want to address the fact that Deontay Wilder and a mob of about 20 people unprovokedly attacked my Team and my family in the lobby last night. My coach and I were blindsided by sucker punches and my team was assaulted as well all in front of my wife and kids. This cowardly attack has no place in boxing and believe me will not go unpunished.”

Wilder has yet to address the situation.

Deontay Wilder holds a 38-0 professional boxing record with 37 wins coming by way of knockout. Dominic Breazeale holds an 18-1 professional boxing record with 16 wins coming by way of knockout.
