Boxing legend Andre Ward has defended Jake Paul against his haters as the latter prepares for his return to the ring. Next month, Jake Paul will make his return to the squared circle when he battles Andre August in Orlando, Florida. He will attempt to build off of his victory over Nate Diaz, with ‘The Problem Child’ using this fight as an opportunity to finally take on a pro boxer. While there’s some real intent behind this matchup, many are still criticizing Paul by suggesting that August isn’t a big enough step up in competition.

Jake Paul has questioned why Dana White wouldn’t be willing to co-promote with PFL for Jon Jones vs Francis Ngannou. It’s well-known that fight fans want to see Jon Jones vs Francis Ngannou. The only problem, of course, is that Jones is signed to UFC, and Ngannou is signed to PFL. Many have suggested that the two promotions could work together on the bout and put on a monstrous co-promotion.

Last month, Tommy Fury was able to defeat KSI via decision in their boxing showdown in Manchester. It took his professional record to 10-0, and it came eight months after he was also able to pick up a win over Jake Paul. In the eyes of Fury, and many others, that now makes him the king of crossover boxing.

YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul has hit back at those hating on his upcoming boxing match against Andre August. On December 15 in Orlando, Jake Paul will go head to head with Andre August. It’s certainly a lesser-known name than we’re used to seeing him face, but even with that being the case, it does feel like an interesting step forward for ‘The Problem Child’. August is 10-1 as a pro with his most recent victory coming over Brandon Martin back in the summer.

That DAZN headliner was the first of Nate Diaz’s career, as he faced YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul. ‘The Problem Child’ was coming off a loss to Tommy Fury in February, and was looking to get back on the right track.

The American YouTuber, Jake Paul, and MMA Legend, Nate Diaz got in the ring at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas on August 5th of this year. The outcome was a unanimous decision win (98-91, 98-91, and 97-92) for the 26 year old Paul.

Earlier this week, ‘The Problem Child took to social media to announce that he would be returning in December. As of now, Jake Paul’s next opponent hasn’t been announced but might end up being Nate Diaz. Earlier this week, the latter took to social media to call for a rematch, much to the dismay of Michael Bisping.

Nate Diaz says he will be rematching Jake Paul in December. Diaz and Paul first met in August as it was the YouTuber who cruised to a clear-cut decision. It was a lackluster fight, and after it, Paul claimed he wanted to rematch Diaz in MMA in the PFL. However, Diaz was adamant he wanted it to be in boxing, despite the first fight being lopsided.

He has since doubled down on the offer, as on The Full Send Podcast, Paul explained why he thinks Diaz turned down the MMA rematch.

There, Canelo Alvarez turned in a vintage performance, dominating ‘Iron Man’ with ease. He earned a unanimous decision victory to retain his super-middleweight gold, and quickly earned a callout from Jake Paul.

Derek Brunson is turning his attention to Jake Paul following his UFC release. Brunson (23-9 MMA), parted ways with the UFC following an 11 year run with the promotion. During that tenure, the 39 year old beat the likes of Kevin Holland, Darren Till, and Uriah Hall to name a few. It was Brunson’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, of Dominance MMA, who confirmed the news just yesterday, September 14th.
