Jake Paul believes Conor McGregor needs him more than ever after his UFC 264 loss to Dustin Poirier. Paul, who is just 3-0 as a pro boxer, is set to box Tyron Woodley at August 29 in Cleveland, Ohio. It’s an intriguing bout but ever since Paul became a pro boxer he has taken shots at McGregor and said the fight would happen. However, after the Irishman suffered a TKO loss due to a broken leg, Paul says the fight isn’t as big as it could be and McGregor now needs him for the big payday.

YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul offered Dustin Poirier his 100k Conor McGregor chain as a reward for his TKO win over his rival at UFC 264. Paul was a guest at UFC 264 and before the fight, he trolled McGregor with a $100,000 “sleepy” necklace that he had custom made for himself, with the figurine hanging from it mimicking what McGregor looked like when he Poirier slept him at UFC 257. After Poirier defeated McGregor via first-round TKO when the doctor stopped the fight due to an ankle break, Paul took to his social media to offer Poirier the necklace as a reward for his finish.

Jake Paul continues to troll Conor McGregor ahead of his UFC 264 trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier, this time with a $100k diamond necklace. McGregor (22-5 MMA) and Poirier (26-7 MMA) are set to square off for a third time tonight in Las Vegas, this after splitting their first two encounters.

In addition to fans suggesting that McGregor may have lost a step, Paul believes that’s certainly the case. Taking to his social media following the presser, “The Problem Child” blasted McGregor and suggested that he is a fraud who is dealing with insecurities.

For Woodley, after losing four straight fights in the UFC he was released and chose to fight Paul and earn a big payday in the process. Tyron Woodley roasted Jake Paul over his failed Father’s Day joke: “You wouldn’t know nothing about getting strapped up. Only strap ons.” Paul recently posted a collage of photos of a number of his rivals — including his last opponent Ben Askren and his next opponent in Woodley — mostly in vulnerable situations. In Woodley’s photo, he looks emotional, and Paul was clearly trying to get in his head with the image. But it didn’t work, as Woodley said that he wasn’t emotional in the photo because he lost a fight, but rather that he was getting rewarded with his black belt. Jake Paul says Anderson Silva looked “amazing” in his boxing match, saying “this just goes to show that MMA strikers are also great boxers.” Silva made his return to the boxing ring this past weekend when he defeated Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. by split decision in a sizeable upset. At age 46 and having not boxed professionally in over 15 years, it was easy to see where there were so many doubters of “The Spider” leading into his boxing match with Chavez Jr. However, Silva shut up the doubters by going in there and beating a pro boxer with way more experience than him.

Randy Couture says he is surprised Jake Paul is leading the charge on fighter pay reform in MMA, and he thinks Conor McGregor should have done more. Paul has been banging on the drum to get UFC fighters (and MMA fighters in general) paid more money, especially as he continues to roll in huge paydays in boxing. During a recent press conference, Paul went on an expletive-filled rant and said that UFC president Dana White should be paying his fighters more money, and saying “f*ck Dana White.”

Sunday was Father’s Day and Paul took to his social media to wish several UFC fighters all the best, only he trolled them hard. The YouTuber sensation Paul posted a collage of photos that included Usman getting choked out by Jose Caceres (with Paul photoshopped into the picture), McGregor sleeping after Dustin Poirier knocked him out at UFC 257, Daniel Cormier crying after Jon Jones knocked him out, Ben Askren just before Paul dropped him, and then Tyron Woodly, who Paul will be fighting next. After the fight, Tyron Woodley, who was in Askren’s corner began to call him out. The fight ended up getting made and for Paul, he believes he will make quick work of the former UFC welterweight champion.

Paul has become one of the biggest names in combat sports these days after winning several boxing matches over the likes of Ben Askren and Nate Robinson, and this summer he takes on the former UFC welterweight champion Woodley. Paul has often been tweeting during the UFC cards as of late, and it was no different this weekend at UFC 263.
