Boxing legends Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. are set to take home huge paydays for this Saturday night’s exhibition boxing match. Tyson and Jones Jr., two of the greatest boxers of all time, will meet this Saturday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, for a highly-anticipated exhibition boxing match. The bout is scheduled for eight, two-minute rounds, and the rules of the contest state there will be no judges ringside, plus there are no knockouts allowed. It is essentially a hard sparring session with plenty of rules designed so the 54-year-old Tyson and the 51-year-old Jones Jr. take as little damage as possible in the bout.

Former NHL enforcer Georges Laraque has confirmed his camp is in talks with Mike Tyson’s camp for an exhibition boxing match for charity. Laraque was one of the top enforcers in the NHL during a 13-year playing career that ran from 1997 to 2010, playing right wing for the Edmonton Oilers, Phoenix Coyotes, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Montreal Canadiens. During his playing days, Laraque was not known for his scoring prowess, as he tallied just 53 goals in 695 career NHL games. Instead, Laraque was known for being one of the game’s best enforcers and fighters.

More bouts have been added to the Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. undercard, including an appearance from former UFC heavyweight Rashad Coulter. Coulter, who went 1-3 in the UFC between 2017 and 2018, will take on England’s Viddal Riley on the Tyson vs. Jones undercard. Coulter has one pro boxing bout on his resume, having picked up a first-round knockout of Armando Herrera Jr. in 2015. He and Viddal, who is 4-0 and represented by Mayweather Promotions, will meet at 210 pounds.

Tyson and Jones Jr. were set to fight in a highly-anticipated exhibition match on September 12, but the fight will now not happen on that date. According to a report from Mike Coppinger of The Athletic, the fight between Tyson and Jones Jr. has been postponed. According to the scribe, the new tentative date for a re-booking is November 28.
