Dana White announces TKO boxing promotion alongside Turki Alalshikh

Dana White has returned to the boxing business with the backing of TKO and Turki Alalshikh. White had teased creating his own boxing promotion since he was hyping up Conor McGregor’s boxing match with Floyd Mayweather back in 2017. The UFC boss wore a Zuffa Boxing shirt, but he appeared to sour on the idea of a venture into boxing before Saudi Arabia got involved.
Dillon Danis claims he doesn't even need to train for KSI as his focus is on Tony Ferguson: "He's a way easier fight"

Dillon Danis appears to be focused on Tony Ferguson rather than his upcoming boxing match against KSI. Danis is set to make his return to the boxing ring against KSI on March 29. After he boxes KSI, he will be fighting Tony Ferguson in the GFL, which Ferguson revealed will take place on May 11 in Los Angeles.

KSI took a page out of Chris Eubank Jr.’s book by delivering some breakfast to the side of Dillon Danis’ face. The popular YouTube star is set to throw down with Danis inside the boxing ring on March 29. Before fight night a press conference was held to build up the matchup. The presser ended with a staredown between KSI and Danis, and things got physical.
New York commission reviewing Gervonta Davis knee no-call, could change result

Gervonta Davis fought Lamont Roach to a draw on Saturday, but that result could be changed. The New York State athletic commission is reviewing the fight and the non-call on Davis’ controversial knee in the ninth round. Davis took a knee in the ninth round and turned to his corner so they could wipe his eye. Although Gervonta Davis took a knee, the ref didn’t rule it a knockdown or DQ him for turning away from the fight and his cornerman going through the ropes to wipe his fighter.

UFC commentator Joe Rogan believes Gervonta Davis should rematch Lamont Roach after their incredible majority draw fight last weekend. Last weekend, Gervonta Davis and Lamont Roach went to war. The two battled it out in a really fascinating encounter and in the end, the judges ruled it a majority draw. While the scoring was solid, many questioned the fact that the referee didn’t rule Gervonta’s intentional knee as a knockdown in the ninth round.

Last appearing in the cage last October in his knockout win over Renan Ferreira, Francis Ngannou has publicly called for a clash with Deontay Wilder. ‘The Bronze Bomber’ is coming off lopsided losses to Joseph Parker and Zhilei Zhang, but is still considered one of the hardest punchers alive.

Heading into the matchup, Tony Ferguson was riding a seven-fight losing streak, leading Dana White to say the bout would be his last in the promotion. Sadly for the former interim champion, he was submitted by ‘The Maverick’ last year.

Davis and Roach shared the ring inside Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY this past Saturday. “Tank” was defending the WBA lightweight title. In a highly-competitive fight, there was controversy in round nine. Referee Steve Willis did not score a knockdown despite the fact that Davis took a knee.

Sadly for the young boxer, the win wouldn’t stand for long, as it was reversed to a no-contest following a failed drug test.

Set for next month in Las Vegas, Alex Pereira will face rising contender Magomed Ankalaev. The bout will be the Brazilian’s first, since scoring a bloody stoppage win over Khalil Rountree last October. Around the time of that bout, Pereira was publicly discussing a bout against Jake Paul.

Daniel Dubois will not be putting his IBF gold at stake against Joseph Parker this weekend. Dubois was expected to collide with Parker inside Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday. The champion ended up falling ill, and initial reports revealed the fight was at risk. Ariel Helwani is now reporting that Dubois has indeed been ruled out of the planned title fight with Parker.
