Super middleweight boxer J’Leon Love has responded to a recent callout from UFC welterweight fighter Mike Perry. Love and Perry crossed paths a few weeks ago in Florida, when ‘Platinum’ came to spar with J’Leon’s buddy Jake Paul. News of the Paul-Perry sparring session was not made public until former UFC interim lightweight champion Dustin Poirier suggested that the infamous YouTuber fight Mike Perry in his next boxing match.

De La Hoya joined the Triller commentary booth during Saturday’s pay-per-view and appeared to be under the influence. Oscar’s commentary was actually so outlandish that it began to overshadow the actually boxing matches.

Jorge Masvidal was not surprised to see Jake Paul KO Ben Askren in their recent boxing match. In the lead-up to the highly-anticipated fight, Jorge and Jake were training together. Paul even called “Gamebred” at the press conference to try and troll Askren. It was interesting to see Masvidal backing Paul given the fact the majority of the MMA community were behind Askren.

The upcoming boxing exhibition bout between YouTuber-turned-boxer Logan Paul and the legend Floyd Mayweather is set to take place on June 5. The Athletic’s Mike Coppinger was the first to report that Paul vs. Mayweather will take place on June 5, along with the details of the proposed matchup. According to Coppinger, Mayweather’s weight limit will be capped at 160lbs for the fight, while Paul can’t weigh in at more than 190lbs. This boxing card will be carried live on Showtime pay-per-view.

UFC bantamweight Cody Garbrandt unloaded on Jake Paul for his callout of Daniel Cormier and he spawned a beef with pro boxer J’Leon Love. Paul knocked out Ben Askren at this past Saturday night’s Triller Fight Club event, and ever since then, he has been taking to social media to talk trash about a number of MMA fighters, including Cormier. As well, there was an incident backstage between Team Paul and former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley, where J’Leon Love — a pro boxer who is part of Paul’s squad — was seen talking some smack to “The Chosen One.”

Jake Paul is no longer interested in having a pay-per-view wrestling match with his recent boxing opponent Ben Askren. Askren (19-2 MMA), a former MMA champion, made his boxing debut against Paul this past Saturday night in Atlanta. The fight itself did not last long, as the YouTuber turned boxer dropped ‘Funky’ with a big right hand early in round one. When Askren got to his feet he was still noticeably wobbled so the referee waved off the fight.

Robinson, of course, was knocked out by Paul last November in Paul’s second professional boxing match. Robinson became a bit of an Internet meme following that loss, which was a devastating second-round KO, something that Askren himself is facing now that he’s been knocked out by Paul, too, having been finished by “The Problem Child” this past weekend.

UFC welterweight Tyron Woodley exchanged words with YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul and his team moments before the Ben Askren fight. Woodley was in the corner of Ben Askren, his longtime friend, and training partner before Paul fought him in Atlanta on Saturday night. Of course, the fight did not last very long as Paul managed to land a clean right hand that dropped Askren in the first round, leading to the ref stopping the fight. It was another easy win for Paul and now there are a number of fighters who are trying to step into the boxing ring with him his next time out, including Woodley himself. There have been several suggestions that “The Chosen One” could fight Paul next, especially if the UFC fully releases him from his contract as is expected.

Even though Paul doesn’t get a ton of respect from the combat sports community, everyone knows that he is a huge name and a big draw. At this point, Paul is one of the biggest stars in combat sports just three fights into his boxing career. If you are lucky enough to get booked to fight against Paul, then you stand to make a lot of money.

Paul fought Ben Askren in the main event of the Triller Fight Club boxing match on Saturday night. It turned out to be an easy night at the office for Paul, as he finished Askren in the first minute of the fight with a knockout. For Paul, it was the type of big-name win that will surely lead to him coaxing other MMA fighters and boxers into accepting a fight against him. Considering how much money Askren made to take a punch in the fight, it would stand to figure that there are many other fighters who are interested in fighting Paul next. But if it was up to Paul, one of the names he would want is Diaz.
