Shields, having heard these comments from White, is all for it. She believes she’d wallop Nunes, but is more than willing to give the Brazilian UFC champion the opportunity.

Pros mourn the passing of Maxim Dadashev

Professional boxer Maxim Dadashev died on Tuesday morning after sustaining severe head injuries during a TKO loss against Subriel Matias on Friday at the MGM National Harbor in Maryland. The bout was stopped during the 11th round by his trainer, Buddy McGirt. After the fight, Dadashev was unable to walk back to the dressing room and collapsed. The junior welterweight boxer was immediately hospitalized and underwent surgery to rectify bleeding on his brain. After spending the weekend in a medically-induced coma, he passed away. He was 28 years old.

Boxer Maxim Dadashev tragically passed away on Tuesday morning following a TKO loss to Subriel Matias, according to a ESPN. The boxer died as a result of brain injuries he sustained in the fight. Dadashev entered his final bout with an undefeated record. The 28-year-old junior welterweight’s trainer, Buddy McGirt, could be seen pleading his student to stop fighting between rounds, as he believed the young fighter was absorbing too much punishment.

Boxing legend Manny Pacquiao returned to the squared circle this evening to challenge undefeated welterweight champion Keith Thurman for his WBA title. The now 40-year-old Filipino Icon, Pacquiao (61-7-2), wass coming off a pair of dominant victories over Lucas Matthysse and Adrien Broner. ‘Pacman’ is the only fighter in boxing history to hold title in eight different weight classes, and was looking to add to that list when he squared off with Thurman this evening.
