The Misfits Boxing event headlined by KSI vs. Tommy Fury reportedly earned 1.3 million pay-per-view buys. The high-profile event went down over the weekend in Manchester, headlined by ‘The Nightmare’. Co-headlined by Logan Paul, the event was nicknamed The PRIME card, a nod to the YouTubers’ hydration drink. At the event, ‘The Maverick’ faced Dillon Danis, while KSI faced Tommy Fury.

That bout had of course ended in controversy, with the English influencer initially being awarded a knockout victory, which was later overturned to a no-contest due to the knockout strike coming in the form of an elbow to the head. Prior to that, KSI was coming off a first-round knockout win over FaZe Temperrr in January of this year.

John Fury, the dad of Tyson and Tommy Fury wasn’t too happy with the way the press conference was going on Tuesday. Tommy Fury and KSI held their press conference to promote their Oct. 14 fight, while Logan Paul was also there as well as his opponent Dillon Danis. With that, the press conference was full of trash talk and KSI took aim at the Fury family accusing Tyson Fury of ducking Oleksandr Usyk which John Fury wasn’t happy about.

Jake Paul is thanking Tommy Fury for handing him his first career loss. It was the undefeated Jake Paul who took on Tommy Fury in a boxing match on February 26th of this year in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia. The result was a split decision victory in favor of Fury.

It appears that YouTuber-turned-boxer KSI might not be boxing Tommy Fury next after all. ‘The Nightmare’ has been out of the ring since May, when he faced Joe Fournier. The bout was expected to be the biggest test of his career thus far, but the Brit passed with flying colors. KSI wound up scoring a second-round knockout win, immediately having a face-off with Tommy Fury following the bout.

In December, Tyson Fury scored his third, and likely final win over Derek Chisora by tenth-round stoppage. Following the victory, the heavyweight champion had a face-off with Oleksandr Usyk in the center of the ring.

On Sunday in Saudi Arabia, Jake Paul suffered his first pro loss as he dropped a split decision to Tommy Fury in their highly anticipated fight. It was a close fight, but it was Fury who ultimately got his hand raised. After the loss, Paul said he would be triggering his automatic rematch clause as he claimed he wasn’t healthy in camp.
