Cro Cop and Melvin Manhoef’s Opponents Announced For Glory 17 And PPV Event

On June 21. Glory kickboxing will hold two events on one night. First will be Glory 17, which will air on Spike TV. After that will be a PPV event titled Last Man Standing. The free card on Spike TV will feature a main event fight between Mirko Cro Cop and Jarrel Miller. Cro Cop was scheduled to fight Sergei Kharitonov, but the fight was changed due to injury.

Cro Cop and Miller have some history which will make this an even more exciting fight. Crop Cop beat Miller in a controversial decision when they fought in the K-1 Grand Prix Tournament. Cro Cop won the tournament and now looks to prove the first win wasn’t a fluke.

Featured on the PPV event is the debut of kickboxing turned MMA turned kickboxing vet Melvin Manhoef. Manhoef is known for his exciting fighting style and looks to knock out everyone he faces. He is entering the middle weight tournament in hopes of winning the middle weight championship. He will make his debut against Filip Verlinden.

So whether you’re watching the free event on Spike TV or the PPV event, or both, it looks like it will be a very exciting evening full of top-level kickboxing. Are you tuning in?
