Evan Dunham calls for scrap with “whiny b*tch” Al Iaquinta
Over the last few weeks, dangerous UFC lightweight Al Iaquinta has been flirting with the idea of a scrap with welterweight knockout artist “Platinum” Mike Perry. With Perry now scheduled to battle Thiago Alves at UFC 215 this August, however, Iaquinta will have to look elsewhere in the search for his next opponent.
Evan Dunham hopes to make Iaquinta’s search an easy one.
Dunham, who holds the number 13 spot in the UFC lightweight rankings, took to Twitter on Saturday night to call for a bout with Iaquinta, calling him a “whiny bitch” for his highly publicized gripes with the way he’s been treated and paid by the UFC. See Dunham’s callout of Iaquinta, which points out that many of the UFC’s other ranked lightweights are currently booked, below:

“Everyone is tired of hearing you bitch about money, [Al Iaquinta],” Dunham said on Twitter. “Its’ time to fight and I am the only fight you got.”
When we last saw Dunham in action, he defeated Rick Glenn by unanimous decision. Prior that win, he scored decision wins over Joe Lauzon, Ross Pearson, and Rodrigo Damm. The long-time contender is 18-6 in sum, and 11-6 in the UFC’s Octagon.
Iaquinta, meanwhile, recently returned from a long hiatus to knock Diego Sanchez senseless in the first round. With this win, he moved onto a five-fight streak, having defeated Jorge Masvidal, Joe Lauzon, Ross Pearson and Rodrigo Damm in his next most recent bouts. The New Yorker is 8-2 in the UFC and 13-3-1 overall.
