Aldo “sure” dos Anjos will defeat McGregor at UFC 197
Former UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo is fresh off of his UFC 194 KO loss to Conor McGregor, and currently has no plans set for his next fight. Conor McGregor on the other hand has been booked to move up to lightweight at UFC 197 and challenge Rafael dos Anjos for the UFC lightweight championship.
While McGregor claims that RDA is a traitor to Brazil, Jose Aldo says there is no way he would fight his fellow countryman, and there’s no way McGregor leaves UFC 197 with the lightweight strap.
He spoke to Globo Esporte:
“I don’t read things on the internet too much. I don’t think there’s any possibility of this fight against Rafael happening. He’s a guy I care a lot about. But everything is up to the UFC. They call the shots. But I’m sure Rafael will win his fight against McGregor.”
