Alex Volkanovski feels Jon Jones isn't being held accountable for his actions

Alex Volkanovski thinks Jon Jones gets passes too frequently when it comes to his run-ins with the law. On March 26, Jones was arrested in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Police responded to a criminal complaint of gunshots. They found Jones inside his car with the engine on in the area of 3rd Street and Central Avenue. After being given a sobriety test and a breathalyzer, Jones was in handcuffs. Police then found a handgun under the driver seat and an open bottle of Recuerdo behind the passenger seat.

Alexander Volkanovski plans on defending his featherweight title in the main event of UFC 251 at home in Australia. Volkanovski won the belt back at UFC 245 with a decision win over Max Holloway. Since then, he had hand surgery but says he will be ready to defend in Australia where he expects to rematch Holloway.

Alexander Volkanovski believes Henry Cejudo is just trying to stay relevant by calling him out. Cejudo, who is the current bantamweight champion, has said he wants to fight Volkanovski to try and become the first three-weight champion in the UFC. It would no doubt be a phenomenal feat. Yet, Volkanovski doesn’t believe it will happen, as he says “Triple C” will regret calling him out if they were to scrap down the line.

The UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski is amused by the possibility of fighting reigning bantamweight champion, Henry Cejudo. The Australian native is confident he would “squash” the American inside of the Octagon. “Triple C” has placed Jose Aldo and Alexander Volkanovski at the top of his matchup wishlist- despite the fact that Volkanovski is a weight category above. Cejudo previously held both the bantamweight and flyweight belts before relinquishing the latter for lack of title defences. If he was to defeat the featherweight champion, this would make Cejudo the first UFC fighter to hold belts in three divisions.

The sportsbooks have opened up the odds for the rematch between UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski and former champion Max Holloway. Volkanovski and Holloway met back in December at UFC 245, with Volkanovski pulling off an upset by winning a unanimous decision to take home the belt. After the fight, UFC president Dana White admitted interest in a rematch. The rematch is not yet official but seems likely to happen sometime this summer once Volkanovski heals up from a broken hand suffered against Holloway.

Henry Cejudo is looking to become “Quadruple C” as he says he is coming after Alexander Volkanovski’s featherweight title. Cejudo deemed himself “Triple C” after he beat Marlon Moraes for the bantamweight title back in June. He was the flyweight, bantamweight champion, and Olympic gold medalist. But, he is looking to add featherweight champion to that list.

UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski fired back at top contender “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung after his rival claimed the champ doesn’t finish fights. The Korean Zombie criticized Volkanovski for not finishing fights in an effort to egg him on and secure a potential fight against the champion. Volkanovski saw The Korean Zombie’s criticisms and didn’t take kindly to them. In response, Volkanovski posted a photo of The Korean Zombie getting knocked out cold by Yair Rodriguez.

UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski took a shot at UFC bantamweight champion Henry Cejudo, and ‘Triple C’ responded in a funny social media exchange. Volkanovski joked that he should call out the loser of the featherweight undercard bout between Sodiq Yusuff and Andre Fili, which Yusuff won via unanimous decision, and tagged Cejudo in his Tweet. “The Great” was clearly taking a shot at Cejudo for his decision to fight Jose Aldo despite him coming off of a split decision loss to Marlon Moraes at UFC 245.

New UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski is set to have surgery on his broken hand that will keep him on the shelf for the foreseeable future. Volkanovski defeated Max Holloway by unanimous decision in the co-main event of UFC 245 to win the title and emerge as a new global star in MMA. But he suffered a broken hand during the fight and it will keep him on the sidelines and unable to defend his belt anytime soon.
