Former UFC heavyweight title challenger Mark Hunt will return to the octagon this March when he squares off with former Strikeforce Heavyweight champion Alistair Overeem at UFC 209 in Las Vegas. Mark Hunt was last seen in action at July’s blockbuster UFC 200 event where he suffered a unanimous decision loss to former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar.

After two failed USADA drug tests, Brock Lesnar is done in the UFC, according to UFC heavyweight and one-time Lesnar opponent Alistair Overeem. Overeem spoke to TMZ Sports on Tuesday while catching a place at Los Angeles Airport, and was asked if he was interested in beating up Brock Lesnar again (Overeem defeated Lesnar by first round TKO back at UFC 141).

Over the last few years, UFC heavyweight Alistair Overeem has spent a good deal of time training under the tutelage Greg Jackson in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Yet when Overeem was booked to fight Andrei Arlovski, a long time staple of Jackson’s camp, things got a little awkward. Jackson and co. opted to corner Arlovski for the fight, while Overeem reduced his time at the Albuquerque gym and did most of his training elsewhere. Now that the fight has come and gone, however, Overeem is back at Jackson’s, training under the same room as his recent foe as he prepares for his upcoming title fight with Stipe Miocic.

Of course, that payday doesn’t hold a candle to some of the recent purses of boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather, who has piled up hundreds of millions over his last few fights. Considering the paltry paydays of many other fighters, it’s not surprising there’s a bit of jealousy when McGregor and Mayweather’s massive paydays are discussed. In the case of upcoming UFC heavyweight title challenger Alistair Overeem, however, it’s not a case of jealousy, but complete disbelief.

While Overeem and Arlovski were never best friends training together at the gym, the fight has brought out much more animosity amongst the two products currently training out of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
