Aljamain Sterling goes off on the bantamweight roster, John Dodson fires back
Perennial UFC bantamweight contender Aljamain Sterling (13-2 MMA) is looking to book his next opponent.
The “Funkmaster” was most recently seen in action this past April where he scored a unanimous decision victory over Augusto Mendes at UFC on FOX 24.
Prior to his win over Mendes, Aljamain had suffered back-to-back split-decision setbacks to Raphael Assuncao and Bryan Caraway respectively.
Sterling, who appeared to be enjoying celebrating Cinco De Mayo yesterday evening, proceeded to callout a plethora of the UFC’s top bantamweight fighters.
Check out Sterling’s tweets below:
Dillashaw and Cruz, you guys are cool. Know how to roll with punches and keep your nose on one side of your face @ufc

Iuri Alcantara, he's TUF but put him on him ass and he eats 100 punches before getting kneebar. I'll finish him with 25punches, GNP gameover

Joe Soto, he's the man. World title fight on short notice. Catch me with like 9-10 leglocks. But I was out of shape. Much better now

Shortly after Aljamin’s tweets, former two-time UFC flyweight title challenger John Dodson fired back with the following statement.
If you wanna fight me next just sign the contract. It's funny you need to be drunk to have the confidence to call me out.
