Terrible news was released on Tuesday regarding the death of an American Top Team member.

Aaron Rajman

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said that 25-year-old Aaron Rajman was killed late Monday after several men entered a home in West Boca, Florida and fired at least one shot at Rajman, according to the Sun-Sentinel. The Sherriff’s Office said that the men entered a house at the 22700 block of Southwest 65th Terrace at around 10:24 pm and had an argument with Rajman, shot him, and then drove away.

The Sherriff’s Office said it has no motive for the fatal shooting of the MMA fighter that turned 25 last week.

Dave Zalewski, who is a Miami fight promoter and friend of Rajman told the Sun-Sentinal, “I’m just literally at a loss for words. Everyone I talked to is sickened.”

“He was the most humble guy around, he never talked bad about people.”

Zalewski said that Rajman had been training with American Top Team since he was 16-years-old.

UFC strawweight Tecia Torres posted a tribute to Rajman on Tuesday saying, “R.I.P @aaronrajman A beautiful soul was taken too soon. Today I have a heavy heart with the passing of my friend. I remember when Aaron went out to NC with me and was my only corner at the end of my amateur career. Shortly after I fought on one of his own mma shows and become the #1 amateur fighter at 115. Thank you Aaron for sharing those special moments. I hope this weekend to make you smile and get the W for you. Miss you bud.”

Torres fights this Friday at The Ultimate Fighter 25 Finale against Juliana Lima at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Aaron Rajman held a 2-2 professional MMA record and last competed in May of last year. Rajman won several amateur titles and racked up an 8-1 record in the amateur circuit prior to turning pro.

The sheriff’s office asks anyone with information about the case to call Palm Beach County Crime Stoppers at 800-458-8477.
