Former UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre spoke with Canadian Sports Outlet “RDS” two days ago and stated that he would be making a “big announcement” next week. Rumors are now swirling that GSP’s big announcement could be a super-fight with former UFC middleweight kingpin Anderson “The Spider” Silva, which would headline the UFC 206 pay-per-view event set for December 10 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The announcement comes after much speculation as to who the UFC will have step in to face Cormier on 2 day notice after Jon Jones was pulled from the event for a potential USADA anti-doping violation.

Anderson Silva just posted a photo to his Instagram account with the UFC 200 logo. Silva said in his caption written in Portuguese that he was heading to Las Vegas, Nevada.
