Update on Anderson Silva fighting at UFC 200

By bjpenndotcom - June 15, 2016

Former UFC middleweight kingpin Anderson Silva was supposed to fight Uriah Hall at UFC 198 in Curitiba, Brazil last month, however ‘The Spider’ was forced to undergo surgery to remove his gallbladder the week of the fight.

Silva set his sights on a return to the Octagon at UFC 200, hoping to avenge his loss to Michael Bisping earlier this year. Chael Sonnen initially reported that Silva vs. Hall had been rebooked for UFC 200, however that is no longer the case.

While Silva is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Michael Bisping, Uriah Hall is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Robert Whittaker at UFC 193 in November. The loss snapped his 2-fight win streak that had seen him pick up a highlight reel KO win over Gegard Mousasi.
