New York lawyers attempting to create union for UFC fighters?
The talk about a fighter’s union has been floating around for quite some time.
Most recently, UFC heavyweight Mark Hunt has been very vocal about fighters needing a union after his opponent Brock Lesnar tested positive for banned substances.
Apparently UFC women’s strawweight Angela Magana was recently contacted by some lawyers in New York that inquired with her about a fighter’s union.
Magana tweeted, “Wow! Recieved letter from nyc attorney motivated by the #mma legalization bill trying 2 unionize @ufc fighters. Not apart of 1st union #loyal”

Magana later clarified her stance on the potential union adding, “To clear any confusion I’m not for the unionization that the nyc lawyers are trying to get #ufc #fighter to do”
