Belal Muhammad has taken issue with former UFC Middleweight Champion Sean Strickland. Belal and Strickland have gone back-and-forth on social media and things have gotten personal between the two. Recently on social media, Belal responded to Strickland saying that Muhammad would’ve cried if he were pranked in person. Belal responded by saying if Strickland was on a podcast he’d probably cry, which was a dig at Sean’s appearance on Theo Von’s podcast.

At UFC 304, the rematch between Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad will finally take place. Their first bout ended due to a nasty eye poke, but since then, both men have been pretty consistent inside the Octagon.

Since then, neither Muhammad nor Burns has fought as ‘The Remember The Name’ is looking to fight for the belt next time out. However, Burns doesn’t think Muhammad should get the next title shot.

Muhammad is currently the second-ranked welterweight and most assumed would be next in line for the next title shot. However, it was a bit of a surprise when Dana White revealed after UFC 298 that Edwards was offered three different opponents for UFC 300 but none came to fruition.

In May, Belal Muhammad defeated Gilbert Burns by unanimous decision, in a fight that was labeled a title eliminator. The victory moved him to a ten-fight unbeaten streak, previously scoring wins over Sean Brady, among others.

With Belal Muhammad and others watching on, the British fighter scored a wide unanimous decision win.
