Artem Lobov targets Paulie Malignaggi, Amir Khan, Saenchai, Buakaw, and Bellator fighters
Artem Lobov is no longer a UFC fighter, but his days as a pugilist are far from over.
Ever since his departure from the UFC was first reported by Oscar Willis of The Mac Life, Lobov has been campaigning for opportunities outside the Octagon — and he’s shooting for the stars.
Speaking late last week on Twitter, the Conor McGregor training partner made callouts of Muay Thai legends Saenchai and Buakaw Banchamek, who he says he’d love to meet in the ring.
“K1 has always been on my radar, proper fights,” Artem Lobov wrote on Twitter. “Buakaw, Saenchai… Send them my way, it would be a huge honour to share the ring with them!”
Lobov has also set his sights on some huge fights in the boxing world, calling out Conor McGregor rival Paulie Malignaggi and British star Amir Khan.
“Malignaggi and Khan I am ready to go next Saturday, where are yous at?” he wrote.
While Paulie Malignaggi and Amir Khan seem to be Lobov’s main targets in the boxing world, it seems that he’s willing to fight pretty much anybody in the ring.
“Boxing is a great sport, but it lacks entertainment lately,” he wrote. “Time to bring in the big guns!!! Who wants it!?!”
Finally, Artem Lobov also reached out to rapper 50 Cent, who recently entered into a partnership with Bellator MMA. He asked the rapper for a shot in the growing, Viacom-owned promotion.
“Yo fifty [50 Cent] them Bellator fighters are crafty and nifty I want to be tested against them lot,” he wrote on Twitter. “Make me an offer worthy The G.O.A.T.”
