Bellator 216 weigh-in results: Paul Daley, Michael Page official for welterweight grudge match
Tomorrow night, Bellator will promote its second show of the weekend in Bellator 216.
This card will be headlined a welterweight grudge match between British knockout artists Paul Daley and Michael “Venom” Page. This grudge match serves as the penultimate quarterfinal bout of the promotion’s exciting welterweight Grand Prix, with the winner advancing to battle former champ Douglas Lima in the second round.
The Bellator 216 card will also feature a number-one contender fight in the heavyweight division, as former champion Vitaly Minakov makes his long-awaited return to the Bellator cage for a rematch with Cheick Kongo, who he defeated by close decision previously.
The card will also include a fan friendly showdown between heavyweight knockout artists Roy Nelson and Mirko Cro Cop, as well as names like Yaroslav Amosov, Erick Silva and Valerie Loureda.
On Friday morning, the 24 fighters on the card stepped onto the scales to weigh in for battle. As luck would have it, nobody missed weight.
