Bellator MMA Files Lawsuit Against Rampage Jackson
Bellator MMA has officially filed a lawsuit against former fighter Rampage Jackson after he left the promotion to return to the UFC.
Bellator announced the lawsuit today, which states that he only completed 3 out of his contracted 6 fights with the promotion, and must complete the final 3.
The promotion released a brief statement, which read:
“We look forward to having one of our MMA stars fighting for Bellator again.”
When the UFC signed Rampage, there was talk that lawyers were involved on both sides, however this is the first official action taken in regard to the situation.
Rampage on the other hand, has stated previously that he terminated his contract with Bellator after they didn’t honor their contractual obligations (See that HERE)
