Ortiz Slams “American Jacka$$” Stephan Bonnar, Says He’s A “$hitty Person”
The plot thickens with Tito Ortiz and multiple time steroid abuser Stephan Bonnar, and it will likely continue to do so until the pair meet at Bellator 131 on November 15th.
For those unfamiliar with the situation, Stephan Bonnar signed with Bellator with the sole purpose of fighting Tito Ortiz. Then, during the in-cage fight announcement, Bonnar brought out Ortiz old coach Justin McCully in a mask, and proceeded to hype the fight WWE style. Ortiz became frustrated with Bonnar’s personal insults and proceeded to shove Bonnar.
Ortiz joined Submission Radio to discuss the incident.
“I really didn’t expect it. I didn’t think of it, but I mean what has the guy done in the sport besides get his ass whipped for his complete career? I mean he’s known for getting his ass whipped.
“I just kind of scratched my head like what is this guy thinking? I mean yeah he’s the American Psycho, I mean more like American Jackass. November 15th it’s going to be 15 minutes of torture. I’m not going to finish him quick. I’m not going to try and knock him out quick. I’m gonna torture him for 15 minutes and I’m literally gonna try to make him quit.”
“He really ticked me off a lot. I mean, he got very personal, like I said. I’m gonna take it out on him on November 15. I can’t wait.”
Ortiz then took the offensive and took some verbal shots at Bonnar.
“The fact of him getting burned for steroids not once but twice, I mean the guy is a phony, the guy is a fake, the guy is, you know he’s just a cheater,” said Ortiz. “And my whole career I stuck to the game plan of training hard and getting the best out of it.
“How someone could be so disrespectful and have such a s—ty career and be a s—ty person… You know, talk about disliking a person my whole career. That’s 17 years. I don’t think I’ve ever hated anybody as much as I hate this person. For a person to talk about my family and to talk about my fans the way he did, I just find it very disrespectful, very childish and fake.”
