Patricio Freire fires back at Will Brooks: ‘He hit Patricky first and came at me’

In response to Bellator lightweight champion Will Brooks’ claim of the Pitbull brothers attacking him, Patricio Freire tweeted that Brooks is a liar. The featherweight champion of Bellator who also fights on Friday at Bellator 145 even posted a previous tweet from Brooks in August that foreshadowed an incident brewing.

Will Brooks is a liar. He hit Patricky first and came at me, I went after him too and my first punch landed. We were separated.

Then he came again, I knocked him down. He tried to take me down, we were separated again and he started calling us cowards.

Whoa! Talk about action outside of the ring! Will Brooks claims he has video of the incident that could put a rest to who started the scuffle. At the time of this writing, it remains unpublished.
