WSOF President Believes They’d ‘Do Very Well’ In Proposed Bellator vs. WSOF Card

Several days ago talks emerged of a winner take all profits, World Series of Fighting vs. Bellator card. Now WSoF matchmaker Ali Abdelaziz has put together proposed bouts for the card, the matchups are as follows:
Tyrone Spong vs. Quinton Jackson
Anthony Johnson vs. Attila Vegh
Andrei Arlovski vs. Vitaly Minakov
Marlon Moraes vs. Eduardo Dantas
Yushin Okami vs. Alexander Shlemenko
Rousimar Palhares vs. Douglas Lima
Justin Gaethje vs. Eddie Alvarez (or Michael Chandler)
Georgi Karakhanyan vs. Daniel Straus
Jon Fitch vs. Rick Hawn
David Branch vs. Brett Cooper
These have not been confirmed, and at this point all talks of the cross promotion card are just ideas, but WSoF President Ray Sefo spoke on Sherdog’s beatdown radio to talk about the idea.
“We wanted to make something exciting for the fans as well as the world of MMA, so we issued the challenge. We’ll just wait and see if it happens or not.”
“I haven’t actually heard what was said, but apparently there was words going back and forth between Ali and Rebney. I think that’s where all this came from and then Ali talked to me about it. I thought, ‘Hey, listen. It’s a great idea. Let’s make it happen.’ So when he went on the MMA Hour and announced it, we were well prepared for it. Now it’s a waiting game, whether it’s going to happen or not.”
… “I think we would do very well. Ali’s a great matchmaker. He’s proven that time and time again, and when I looked at the list, I was like, ‘OK, great.’”
