Tonight’s UFC Vegas 71 main card includes a lightweight scrap featuring Bobby Green taking on Jared Gordon. Green (29-14-1 MMA) will enter the contest with hopes of snapping his two-fight losing skid. ‘King’ is coming off back-to-back stoppage losses to Drew Dober and Islam Makhachev respectively. Prior to those setbacks, the 36-year-old was coming off wins over Al Iaquinta and Nasrat Haqparast.

The Stockton legend recently fought out his contract in the UFC and signed off with a a submission win over Tony Ferguson at UFC 279. Bobby Green won’t actually be retiring after UFC Vegas 71 after all. After Green suffered a knockout loss to Drew Dober, he revealed his next fight would serve as his retirement bout. The veteran has been fighting as a pro since 2008 and has fought 44 times as a pro, including 20 times in the UFC. Shortly after announcing his next fight would be his last, Green was booked to face Jared Gordon at UFC Vegas 71.

The incident ended with Colby being sucker punched by ‘Gamebred‘ in the face twice, suffering a broken tooth, plus he sustained damage to his $90K Rolex watch.
