Nearly all the pros predict we hear ‘And Still’ as Deiveson Figueiredo will get his hand raised and likely does by stoppage.

The full betting odds have been released for the 11 fights scheduled to take place at Saturday’s UFC 256: Figueiredo vs. Moreno event. In the main event, UFC flyweight champion Deivieson Figueiredo makes a quick turnaround when he takes on top contender Brandon Moreno. Both men just fought less than three weeks ago at UFC 255, picking up impressive first-round finishes over Alex Perez and Brandon Royval, respectively. The UFC was able to get both men to quickly turn around and fight each other for flyweight supremacy in the main event of UFC 256.

UFC flyweight contender Cody Garbrandt called Brandon Moreno “a lamb being led to the slaughterhouse” against Deiveson Figueiredo. Garbrandt was actually supposed to be the one who fought Figueiredo at UFC 255 for the UFC flyweight title, but he injured his arm and then got sick with COVID-19. Instead, Figueiredo fought Alex Perez and he finished the challenger in the first round of their main event title fight in November. On the undercard of the same event, Brandon Moreno finished Brandon Royval and earned the next title shot against Figueiredo. The two will now clash in the main event of UFC 256 next weekend in Las Vegas.

Henry Cejudo captured the UFC flyweight title with a controversial split decision defeat of of Demetrious Johnson in August, 2018. After defending the title with a knockout of TJ Dillashaw in January 2019, he then ventured up to bantamweight, where he captured the vacant title with a defeat of Marlon Moraes, and retired after defending the belt against Dominick Cruz.

However, the former bantamweight champion had to pull out with an injury and it was Alex Perez who stepped in to fight for the belt.

Originally, Moreno was supposed to fight Alex Perez while Deiveson Figueiredo was going to defend his belt against Cody Garbrandt. Yet, on Friday it was revealed Garbrandt is out of the fight and Perez will now be fighting for the belt.

Borg was forced out of the bout due to corneal abrasions in his eye from the bus window’s glass that was broken by McGregor.

A key flyweight scrap between Sergio Pettis and Brandon Moreno served as the headlining bout of tonight’s UFC Fight Night 114 event in Mexico City. Round one begins and Moreno misses with an attempted low kick to start. He fires off another that lands. Moreno catches a Pettis low kick and uses that to score an early takedown. Moreno working from full guard here. Pettis traps an arm. Moreno pulls it free. Pettis scrambles but gives up his back. Moreno takes the back and locks in a body triangle. Brandon is looking for a rear-naked choke now. He switches to some punches and then resorts back to working for the submission. Pettis is able to avoid the choke. Moreno switches to punches. Pettis attempts to scramble but Brandon stays on his back. Brandon is working some strikes from the back. Ten seconds remain. The horn sounds to end round one.
