UFC 196

Former UFC title challenger Chael Sonnen is a very knowledgeable fight analyst for ESPN and has some interesting things to say about the rematch between UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz.

Sonnen doesn’t think the outcome of their rematch will be any different from their first meeting at UFC 196 back in March where Diaz was able to weather the early storm of McGregor. Despite a strong first round for “The Notorious,” Diaz found his range in the second round stunning McGregor with some clean strikes. McGregor took the fight to the ground after eating some of Diaz’s combinations and Diaz took full control of the fight from that moment, eventually sinking in a rear-naked choke on McGregor forcing him to tap.

Hear “The American Gangster’s” reasoning for him seeing Nate Diaz taking the UFC non-title welterweight rematch against Conor McGregor on August 20 at UFC 202.
