Current and Former WWE Stars react to CM Punk’s UFC 203 loss
Former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) champion CM Punk made his highly anticipated octagon debut against Mickey Gall at last night’s UFC 203 event in Cleveland, Ohio.
The bout served as Punk’s first ever professional mixed martial arts fight and came against a very young and talented prospect, Gall, who had gone 2-0 thus far in his professional MMA career.
When the fight started, Punk quickly proceeded across the cage in hopes of trading punches with his opponent. Unfortunately for Punk, his forward movement allowed Mickey Gall to score an easy takedown just seconds in to their main card bout. Gall would proceed to pass CM Punk’s guard and begin working some solid ground and pound on the former Wrestling star. Mickey would eventually take CM Punk’s back, where he was able to secure a rear-naked choke that forced Brooks to submit.
Here is how some former and current WWE stars reacted to CM Punk’s submission loss at UFC 203:
Glad to see CM PUNK tell his fans he's going to continue his UFC journey,he will learn and come back strong!! Time to fix that ear! HH
