VIDEO | CM Punk bashes WWE stars for “getting worked” by Conor McGregor

By Chris Taylor - August 15, 2016

Former WWE champion Phil Brooks (CM PUNK) talks about the ongoing feud between Conor McGregor and the stars of the WWE with “Hot 97” in the above video.

Brooks, who will make his UFC octagon debut against Mickey Gall at next month’s UFC 203 pay-per-view event in Cleveland, says that the WWE wrestlers who fired back at Conor McGregor on social media should be “embarrassed” about their recent actions.

“There’s tough guys in wrestling. You have to be tough to be in wrestling. Do you have to be tough to be in that (WWE) locker room? Not anymore haha. You know it’s a different world and a different business. Not only from when I started but from when I was there. I think the thing that shocked me the most about what Conor said was the number of people who work there who responded to him. Who should no better. I don’t feel that they (the wrestlers) got worked. They got worked! I mean Rick Flair come on just stop. Just knock it off. I mean volunteering guys to fight Conor. It is embarrassing.”
