Cody Garbrandt Trashes Michael Bisping After Main Event Comments

The UFC has put together two impressive UFC conference calls back-to-back. Not only did Cody Garbrandt double down on his challenge to Demetrious Johnson, he declared that his fight with TJ Dillashaw at UFC 217 is the real main event. Today, Michael Bisping responded to the dig with a comeback of his own. Of course, it can’t end there. The UFC bantamweight champion just took to Twitter to tell Bisping his fight is only a draw because of Georges St-Pierre.

Known as a fighter not afraid of confrontation, it’s worth it to note that the two will be sitting with each at yet another UFC 217 press conference next week. Will we see another Tony Ferguson and Fabricio Werdum scenario? We’ll just have to watch and find out. Disagreements aside, both men’s match-ups are big fights that top off an absurdly stacked UFC 217 card next weekend on November 4th. Cody Garbrandt defends his bantamweight title in the co-main event against TJ Dillashaw, while Michael Bisping defends his middleweight title against welterweight legend Georges St-Pierre.
