The brash UFC boss gave the following statement to Lance Pugmire of The LA Times.

“Dana White says he’ll hash out the UFC 219 main event for Las Vegas by the end of the week and said @TheNotoriousMMA return ‘will be in Vegas’ and ‘could be’ on that Dec. 30 date.” – Lance Pugmire

While no return date has been made official for “Mystic Mac”, Dana White is confident that the Irish stars next scrap will once again take place under the bright lights of Las Vegas.

The UFC President is not ruling out the possibility that Conor McGregor could headline UFC 219 which takes place December 30 live from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Dana White did not make any mention of a possible opponent for “Mystic Mac” this evening. However, he has stated in past interviews that current interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson would receive the next shot at McGregor’s crown.

Conor McGregor has made it very clear in recent interviews that he is looking to obtain a stake in the promotion before agreeing to any new fight offers with the UFC.

McGregor’s last octagon appearance came at UFC 205 in New York where he knocked out Eddie Alvarez thus becoming the first fighter in promotional history to earn two titles in two different weight classes simultaneously.
