Conor McGregor is having his Cage Warriors and UFC belts delivered to Las Vegas
Floyd Mayweather has won many belts over the course of his long and illustrious career. He’ll probably have a number of those titles with him when he walks out to battle Conor McGregor this Saturday. McGregor, of course, has won a handful of titles himself. The Irishman is has made history as a two-division champion in both Cage Warriors and the UFC, and from the sounds of it, those belts might be on display over the weekend too.
According to McGregor’s father, Tony McGregor, the Irish champ has requested that all of his belts be flown posthaste to Las Vegas.
“Received an official communique from the McGregor cam, deep in the Nevada desert,” the elder McGregor said on Instagram. “The champ-champ has requested his belts be flown to him in USA. Roger that.”
The implication here is that Conor McGregor could well walk out to his fight with all of his belts with him, as is customary in the boxing world.
