Ahead of Conor McGregor’s UFC 196 lightweight showdown with Rafael dos Anjos on March 5th, there was much speculation as to what McGregor would do after the fight in regards to which weight class he would fight in.

Dublin, Ireland's Conor McGregor

McGregor stated at the UFC 196 press conference that he wanted to hold the UFC featherweight, lightweight, and welterweight championships by the end of the year.

Through all of this, many are wondering whether or not McGregor will fight at UFC 200 in July given that it’s only 4 months after his UFC 196 scrap.

In an interview with Severe MMA McGregor divulged his plans for his next fight.

“Fuck Vegas. Serious. I want the East Coast next. If they don’t give me Ireland, give me the East Coast, I’ll go back to Boston. I know they’re lobbying for New York. We had a great time when we went to Boston and the East Coast is not as far, it’s a five-hour flight. I’ll go back to the O2, no problem, or the 3Arena. I’ll go back there and fight, I don’t care if it’s 9,000, whatever, if I’ve outgrown that. I haven’t outgrown my home fuckin’ town. I’m still here. Vegas this one, Vegas next one, probably because I committed to it, UFC 200, I did commit to that. But then fuckin’ East Coast or Dublin.”

Do you think after UFC 200 we could finally see a card headlined by McGregor at Croke Parke?
