Conor McGregor continues to take aim at “kid” Max Holloway

Max Holloway, Conor McGregor

Current UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor, who will be stripped of his title as soon as Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov throw their first punch at UFC 223, paid Frankie Edgar some serious respect following “The Answer’s” first career knockout loss to Brian Ortega at last night’s UFC 222 event.

“Mystic Mac” took to Twitter where he issued the following statement calling Frankie Edgar “A true fighters fighter”:

“Frankie’s career deserved for that to be against me tonight. Respect Frankie. Love and respect always! A true fighters fighter.” – Conor McGregor

Shortly after McGregor’s respectful post, current UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway was all class in saluting Edgar on taking such a risky fight with Ortega.

“You had nothing to gain from taking that fight @FrankieEdgar. But you took it you defended what you already earned. There’s no belt for sacrificing everything but true fans and Jersey knows no belt can outshine what you bring to the sport. Chin up bratha.” – Max Holloway

Now, just moments ago, Conor McGregor decided to troll Max Holloway by commenting on his post to Edgar by stating the following:

“Kid, you bounced. Leave it.” – Conor McGregor

Conor McGregor defeated Max Holloway via decision way back at UFC Fight Night 26 in August of 2013.

Since then, “Blessed” has won a staggering twelve-straight fights, obtaining the UFC’s featherweight title in the process.

Do you think we will ever see a rematch between Holloway and McGregor? Who do you think would win? Sound off PENN Nation!
