Conor McGregor earned the highest payday in UFC history last night

UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor earned a majority decision victory over Nate Diaz in a welterweight bout which headlined last night’s UFC 202 event in Las Vegas.
According to a report from MMAFighting, the Irish superstar made a disclosed $3 million for his victory over “The Stockton Slugger”. Nate Diaz apparently earned $2 million for his efforts.
The information was released by the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC).
The $3 million dollar payday makes Conor McGregor the highest paid fighter in UFC history.
Former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar used to hold that record, as he collected $2.5 million for his UFC 200 victory over Mark Hunt just last month.
