Conor McGregor has a message for the “c**ts” who plan to strip him of the title

By Tom Taylor - April 5, 2018

With Khabib Nurmagomedov and last-minute replacement Max Holloway vying for lightweight gold in the main event of UFC 223 this weekend, the division’s current champion Conor McGregor is expected to be stripped of his title any day now. You can’t, after all, have two undisputed champions in the same division.

While the UFC is likely to remove the “C” beside Conor McGregor’s name any day now, he doesn’t seem to be on board with the decision. Early on Thursday morning, the Irish superstar took to Twitter to give his thoughts on the matter.

“You’s’ll strip me of nothing you’s do nothing cunts,” McGregor said in his Tweet.

Conor McGregor’s last fight occurred in the boxing ring, when he came up short opposite undefeated Floyd Mayweather in one of the biggest fights ever.

His last mixed martial arts contest occurred in November of 2016, when he knocked out Eddie Alvarez to capture the UFC lightweight title. This win was preceded by a close decision defeat of Nate Diaz, an upset submission loss to Nate Diaz, and a 13-second knockout of featherweight great Jose Aldo, which earned him the UFC featherweight belt. McGregor is an impressive 21-3 overall.

At present, the circumstances of McGregor’s return to the cage—if such a thing even occurs—are not clear. That being said, the most likely option would now seem to be the winner of Khabib Nurmagomedov and Max Holloway’s UFC 223 lightweight title fight, perhaps even in Russia later this year.
