Conor McGregor predicted his current situation back in 2014

Conor McGregor has grown famous for his ‘Mystic Mac’ predictions before fights. Ahead of his UFC 205 scrap with Eddie Alvarez this past weekend that saw McGregor pick up a 2nd round TKO win and claim the lightweight championship, McGregor predicted that he would finish Alvarez in the first round.

Interestingly enough, not only did Mystic Mac predict that he would finish Alvarez despite the fact that only one man has been able to finish Alvarez throughout the course of his nearly 15 year professional MMA career, he actually predicted that he would win two belts in the UFC, and have shares in the UFC.

Now, on the heels of his win over Alvarez this past weekend, where he became the first man to simultaneously hold two belts in two different weight classes, McGregor has drawn some attention to yet another interesting prediction from 2014.

The Tweet was made on June 4th of 2014, while McGregor was just 2-0 in the Octagon, defeating Marcus Brimage and Max Holloway. Interestingly enough, the Tweet was made while McGregor was out with a torn ACL, before he returned to the Octagon in July of 2014 to fight Diego Brandao in the main event of ‘UFC Fight Night: Dublin’.

Following the fight, McGregor revealed during the post-fight press conference that given the fact that he & his girlfriend, Dee Devlin, are expecting a child, McGregor is thinking business-minded, and revealed his intentions to get equity in the UFC:

“They’ve got to come talk to me now because no one’s came and talked to me since the sale has happened as a businessman,” McGregor told the media following UFC 205. “I’ve been approached as, ‘Hello’ and that type of stuff, but I’ve earned something. Who owns the company now? People have shares. Celebrities. Conan O’Brien owns the UFC now. Where’s my share? Where’s my equity? If I’m the one that’s bringing this, they’ve got to come talk to me now. I’ve got both belts, family on the way. If you want me to stick around, if you want me to keep doing (this), let’s talk. But I want the ownership now. I want the equal share. I want what I deserve, what I’ve earned.”

Will yet another Mystic Mac prediction come true?
