Current UFC lightweight champion of the world Conor McGregor has been busy tending to the needs of his “undisputed 9-pound champion of the world” son Conor Jack McGregor.

With that said, the brash Irish superstar still found time in his busy schedule to take in some of yesterday’s UFC 211 fights from Dallas, Texas.

In the featured preliminary bout of the evening, two of Conor’s former opponents went to battle as Dustin Poirier took on former lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez.

The lightweights, Poirier and Alvarez, went to war in a back and forth affair before Eddie eventually landed a pair of unintentional illegal knees that left Dustin on queer street.

After Herb Dean stepped in and put a stop to the action, the doctors in attendance took a look at Poirier and deemed him unfit to continue and the bout was ruled a no-contest.

In the co-main event of evening, current strawweight queen Joanna Jedrzejczyk took on surging division contender Jessica Andrade.

While the Brazilian fighter showed a ton of heart and even landed some decent shots, Andrade proved to be no match for “Joanna Champion” who easily won the five-round scrap via unanimous decision.

The bout was arguably Joanna’s finest performance since becoming UFC champion and Conor McGregor was quick to praise “JJ” for her efforts.

Conor McGregor is expected to square off with undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather in his next outing.

The UFC and “The Money Team” are still working on a deal in order to bring the boxing super-fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor to fruition.
