Conor McGregor Responds to ‘Mad Bastard’ 50 Cent’s Inferior Genes Comment

By Justin Golightly - March 9, 2018

After Conor McGregor congratulated Jay Z on surpassing fellow rapper and entrepreneur Diddy, even though it was really about him surpassing Floyd Mayweather on the Forbes Top 100 list, he made a quick not that 50 Cent had blocked him on Instagram. That whole description sounds completely ridiculous, but what is more nuts is the statement 50 Cent released in response to McGregor. Not only did he say that white people couldn’t be champions, but claimed McGregor ran out on his wife and kid. Of course, it couldn’t end there. The Champ Champ™ went off on him yesterday to celebrate International Women’s Day of all things.

“Happy International Women’s Day everyone. Get your tits out for the lads, ladies. We love you. Superior genes my big ball sack, mate. I am made of granite. You need a bra. You jabbed up fool. Haha, you should have stayed quiet and promoted that [Floyd Mayweather] fight for me on the free like you did, but you just kept going with them f-cking memes. Your 50, 50. 50-years old. F-ck off. It’s all love though, 50. Serious, you are a mad bastard, but we still proper love a few of your tunes over on this side of the world. I even blasted one of them on the free walking into Madison Square Garden to take one of my belts. It was called, ‘I Run New York’.”Conor McGregor via his official Instagram.

There’s a ton to unpack from this besides an obvious gynecomastia joke: 50 Cent’s involvement in the Floyd Mayweather boxing match, a deep cut reference to Molly Shannon’s 50-year old ‘Sally O’Malley’ character from SNL, the fact that McGregor did walk out to a 50 Cent song at UFC 205. Like all Conor McGregor rivalries, it looks like it isn’t close to being over. Which should be fine for McGregor, think of all these feuds that he has made as tiny promotion geysers that he can make spew up word-of-mouth advertising anytime he wants, leading to news and profits.
