UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor got his revenge with a win over Nate Diaz on Saturday night at UFC 202.

The Notorious one

While nearly all of McGregor’s fellow fighters were picking Diaz to win the rematch, “The Notorious” was able to pick up a majority decision win over his rival after five exciting rounds of combat.

“After that fight when I lost and I’m looking at all these people and they’re all celebrating my demise and saying I’m done and this. It certainly lit a fire under my belly,” McGregor said on Saturday night (transcribed by FOX Sports).

“Every single person doubted me. Every single fighter doubted me. Doubt me now,” said McGregor.

“The Notorious” also commented on how he has elevated the fight game to another level with his bout with Diaz in terms of fighter pay.

“I don’t care what anyone says — I helped bring this game to another level,” McGregor said.

“They can deny that all they want but I did. Look at Nate’s purse tonight, look at the first fight, look at everyone’s game has gone up money wise and I helped do that.”
