Bitter rivals Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov squared off following Thursday’s UFC 229 press conference in New York City.
As expected, things got pretty heated between “The Eagle” and “Mystic Mac” when the pair finally got face to face.

The Russian star, Khabib Nurmagomedov, has gone a perfect 26-0 in his mixed martial arts career, which includes ten victories under the UFC banner.
“The Eagle” was last seen in action at April’s UFC 223 event in Brooklyn, where he defeated Al Iaquinta to capture the promotions coveted lightweight title.
That same weekend, former UFC “champ champ” Conor McGregor made headlines when he attacked the UFC fighter bus inside the Barclays Center which resulted in three fighters being injured.
Conor McGregor has since been cleared of all felony charges stemming from the incident and will now face his bitter rival at UFC 229 on October 6 in Sin City.
UFC 229 will mark the first time that Conor McGregor has stepped foot inside the octagon since UFC 205 in November of 2016, where he defeated Eddie Alvarez via second-round knockout to become the first fighter in UFC history to hold two belts simultaneously.
