Dana White on Conor McGregor following UFC 202: ‘It’s time for him to defend his title’
At UFC 202 over the weekend, “The Notorious” was able to even up the score with Nate Diaz after a five-round war putting them both with one win against each other.
Now with the money fight over, UFC President Dana White said immediately after the fight that McGregor had two options for his next bout. Either defend his featherweight title against interim champion Jose Aldo to unify the belts or face Eddie Alvarez for the lightweight title.
On Thursday, White spoke on “The Herd” and it sounds like he is insisting that it is time for Conor to get back to 145 pounds. White said on the show, “”It’s time for him to defend his title.”
