While we are nearly 24 hours away from UFC 200, the MMA community can’t get enough of Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz after their UFC 202 press conference on Thursday afternoon. During the course of the presser, McGregor explained that a win for him on August 20th likely sets up a trilogy fight between the pair given that Diaz won the pair’s first meeting at UFC 196.

However, that hasn’t stopped McGregor from talking about competition whenever Floyd’s name comes up. McGregor recently told ESPN, “If I only had to focus on boxing, hell, I’d be neck and neck with Floyd right now. I’m in the game of spinning plates. I’m spinning a boxing plate. I’m spinning a taekwondo plate. I’m spinning a jiujitsu plate. I’m spinning a freestyle wrestling plate. I’m spinning a karate plate. There are so many spinning plates in this game. If I was to put all of them down and have one boxing plate spinning, it would be like a load off my shoulders.”

On Monday, UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor released some exclusive footage of his training for his rematch with Nate Diaz scheduled for UFC 202. In the video, McGregor showcased his sparring session with former boxing champion Chris Van Heerden and apparently edited the video to show himself getting the better of Van Heerden in training.

In the second round, McGregor was rocked, and shot in for a takedown against Diaz, which ultimately led to him being submitted via rear-naked choke. Back in March, Nate Diaz stepped in on less than two weeks notice to fight Conor McGregor in the main event of UFC 196 after UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos broke his foot during training.
