UFC lightweight contender Michael Chandler is seemingly moving on from Conor McGregor. ‘Iron’ and ‘The Notorious’ were set to clash in late June in Las Vegas. The two were set to headline UFC 303, but as many fans are aware, the fight didn’t happen. Over two weeks from fight day, Conor McGregor withdrew from his long-awaited return due to a broken toe. Quickly, Michael Chandler was also pulled from the card.

Conor McGregor hasn’t competed since breaking his leg in his trilogy bout against Dustin Poirier in July 2021. Due to that injury, as well as ‘Road House’ obligations, the Irishman has been out of action for three years. However, he finally had a fight date against Michael Chandler earlier this summer.

The bout was set to take place after a year of build-up, and a season coaching The Ultimate Fighter. However, just two weeks before the event, Conor McGregor withdrew due to a broken toe. As a result, Michael Chandler was pulled from the event as well.

UFC bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley remains torn in his stance regarding Conor McGregor following the recent beef between the two sides. Tensions have ramped up between O’Malley and McGregor in recent weeks over O’Malley testing positive for Ostarine earlier in his career. After seeing a tweet in which McGregor mocked his explanation for the positive test, O’Malley attacked McGregor on social media, calling the former two-division champion a “drug addict”.
